world of goo final, inspired by the game of course =], i did this not only for fan art work but for practice into scenes that i dont usualy work with, had fun making this =], next is to work on animating it, already have the hair done, and the windmills shouldnt be that hard to do, only thing i cant work out how to do is the chain, but im sure i will =].
Total time about 6 hours, rendered in cinema 4d, render time about a minute and rendered with GI + 2 omi lights with soft shadows =]

Lo and behold, the giant lady power generator thing is now as beautiful as ever in the third dimension! Everything else, such as the pipes and whatnot, are also rendered accurately, and gorgeously, in their own fashion, looking as if they are venting out beauty as a power source.
Like gasoline.
Or turpentine.
...A factory opens in the south...

This is so amazing! I can't believe you made a 3d model of this section in World of Goo. In such a short amount of time too! (At least, that's what I gathered from your Artist's Comments.)

World of Goo is one of my favorite games as well, the music throughout the game was probably one of my favorite game soundtracks since Final Fantasy, but Auditorium was a close second. And yeah, I clicked all the links in your Artist's Comments. All of them were really cool. :D
